Silver plating

Silver plating is an electrolytic process it produces a pure white haze free deposit over a wide range of thicknessess. Silver has the highest electrical conductivity, heat conductivity and the lowest contact resistance of any metal, making it ideal for the electronics industry. It is often chosen as a less expensive alternative to gold for electrical connections. Plated to BS 2816 electroplating specifications.

Electrolytic cobalt gold

Known as 'cobalt' gold because there is a small amount of alloy in the plating bath, this addition helps the hardness of the deposit. Electrolytic gold has a wide range of applications. The process produces a deep yellow, bright deposit. It is unequalled by most other metals. It is an excellent conductor and almost totally resistant to corrosion and abrasion. This combined with the fact that you can achieve excellent results with very thin coatings, makes gold a cost effective finish.

Electroless immersion gold

Immersion gold is a process for producing a thin bright 24-carat pure gold deposits on nickel and electroless nickel substrates. The process is designed to provide a final surface finish that exceeds most component attachment requirements, which produces an even coat of gold on parts of all shapes and has low contact resistance
